Happy Birthday, Squirm!

We gathered at Tress and Jake's for a Christmas Eve Birthday Party. Squirm was so cute! I brought in his train cake and he was in awe admiring it as I set it up and put on the wheels. SO worth it! :) We'd been talking about his cake and birthday for a few months, so he was ready!
We played pin the nose on the snowman. It was pretty entertaining. We tried out Grunt Piggy Grunt, transformed to Laugh Santa, Laugh; but Grandma Sandy and Squirm both cried when we were playing, so we moved on to cake. :)

Squirm LOVES trains. This cake is inspired by the book he loves: Frieght Train by Donald Crews. He reads it to me. I love it!

After enjoying cake, he was ready to open presents. We gave him a new book (as is tradition) called, Niccolini's Song. It's about a watchman in a train yard who sings to the trains. The book features some of his favorite things: singing, babies and of course, trains.
