What's For Dinner?

Charles was so grumpy at me last night, as you can see. I just thought it was so funny....after I realized a few people might get some laughs out of it. So, rather than let it ruin my self-esteem and get me all upset, I made a video and will share it with all of you.

You would think that with this kind of response from a three-year-old that dinner was something awful like "meatloaf surprise", fish, or liver and onions. So... what WAS for dinner?

That's right, folks! Mac & Cheese, hot dogs, an peas!!! Am I a cruel mom, or what? (Side note: after making the movies, I showed them to Charles who then started smiling and hugging me and asked for lots of dinner and ate it all! Go figure!)

That is funny. I can totally relate. You are a great mom too because my kids just get the mac & cheese with veggies. They would be thrilled to see the hot dogs in there too. :)

Ok, so I was finally able to watch that video. Firefox is having issues so it won't load videos, I have to open your blog with internet explorer. Anyway, I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks that mac & cheese and hotdogs is a normal dinner. When I first suggested it to Chris he thought I wanted to mix the hotdogs in with the mac & cheese. Why would anyone do that? That's gross!

I'm glad to see that Andrew and Charles both react the same way. Andrew throws ridiculous tantrums but will never tell me what is upsetting him. Why oh why is it so hard to just tell me what's wrong? Arrgggghhhh! So, thanks. If your kid does it too then it means that mine is normal. I can cancel that therapy session now.
