Just before we left for our fabulous trip to Cali, we had a chance to spend some time with our wonderful friends. Scott and Amme and their family moved in August 2007 and it about tore me apart! Amme and I had just finally become super good friends and then she up and leaves for the hurricane lands! What is that all about anyway? No, really, I've moved on. I'm ok. At long last she and her family made the trek out to see us! Ok, who am I kidding? They have family here and I was fortunate enough to steal some of their time. It was so wonderful! A big thank you to Jessica for letting us party at her house! I had so much fun visiting and eating and laughing with my friends and their cute kids. I finally got to see Spencer, now that he is practically walking! He gave me the biggest smile when they got to my house and I almost cried! Thanks for coming to see me, Amme! I know, I know, it's my turn now. :) I can taste those Danish pastries already!

You took as many pictures that night as I did the whole trip! Truth be known, I would have a hard time choosing between who I was more excited to see, friends or family!
