Lily's Big Day

Last Sunday after staying up WAY too late the night before, we loaded into the car and drove to Provo. My younger brother, Josh, was blessing his little girl on his birthday, so we figured we'd go help celebrate.
It was such a beautiful day that we took advantage of the weather and spent time walking around outside. Too bad most of the day was spent indoors and in the car.
It was fun to see Heather's family and my family and especially my grandparents. Lily was a perfect angel and looked so beautiful. I didn't get a picture of her in her dress, though. Dang. I'll have to ask Heather and Josh for one.

We had some yummy food and then cake for Josh's bday before heading back home. Yes, I made his cake, and yes, it is girly. I figured it was appropriate since they were sharing the day, right? Besides he wanted a 3-D replica of the Delta Center. Dream on!

Squirm sat with me during most of sacrament meeting and I entertained him by showing him the pictures in the Gospel Principles manual. He likes the one of the girl with the apple (he says 'apple' really well), but his favorite is the lamb and the lion. He roars really well. I was quite amused. His mother was not. Ah well, you can't please everyone.

Isn't she the cutest thing ever? It's rare that I see her with her eyes open, so I was glad for this cute picture of her.
