Guess what?! My table finally came! Yeah, it was supposed to be here in March, but they were running late, apparantly. And, we're still waiting for the bench to complete the set, but I LOVE IT! I was a little worried that I wouldn't like it once it got here, but it is really beautiful!!! Now, I really want to paint the kitchen and hang some cute stuff on the wall and then I will have one room completed! Amazing! Thanks for the awesome gift, Louis!
Saturday was so wonderful. I had been looking forward to it all week! Donna is an angel. She put together a baby shower for me but it was more like a MONSOON! Everyone was so thoughtful and generous and I had such a fun time eating, laughing, visiting with friends, being spoiled by wonderful gifts, and eating some more! Here are some pics of all the fun. A HUGE thanks to everyone. I went home feeling so loved and Louis about fell over when I showed him all the nice new things for our little baby. I think it's finally starting to sink in for both of us now.
I also learned that I am so not photogenic! Ok, I knew that before, but really! Yikes! Anywho.... these pictures make me laugh because when people were asking me what I needed, I couldn't think of things. It has just been so long and I had no clue. So finally I was shopping for a friend of mine and I started to think of some things, and the next day Gwen called me and asked me what I needed and I told her: baby hangers. Yep that is what I need! So there they were, I was so surprised! That morning before I left for the shower I was telling Louis how I couldn't think of things to tell people and I said to him, "Duh! I need a diaper bag. Why didn't I think of that?" I needn't have worried. Donna thought of it. And a whole lot of other things, too! :) Thanks, ladies!!!
And I was so happy that Squirmy and Lily were able to come up and spend the day with us. I just love those two. Aren't they the cutest? I quite enjoyed snuggling Lily Pie as the shower was winding down. Even Donna got some snuggle time in and agrees that she is the snuggliest baby ever.
While I was partying with all the girls and babies, my kids took Louis, grandpa and Uncle Jake and Josh to see How to Train Your Dragon in 3-D. They said it was awesome. I am so glad they finally went. Charles has talked of nothing else since it came out. It was a wonderful day and I appreciate all of the wonderful people who came to support me. I even got to end it with a new haircut. Ah. Nothing is more relaxing and refreshing!
Today I was a little bit stupid. I walked to church and as we were getting close to the doors, Gwen pulled into the parking lot and went running for the door. We have this little competition to see who can get to church first being loving neighbors and all, so of course I couldn't just let her win. I took off running, too! I even beat her inside the door, barely. It was pretty funny and took me a bit to quit laughing and catch my breath. Then I sat down and realized, that probably wasn't the smartest thing to do at eight months pregnant. I hurt so bad the rest of the day! I have a check up tomorrow, I hate to have to admit my stupidity. Here's hoping that I'll heal in time for Women's Conference this weekend! (and be allowed to go....)

You look super cute!
You do look cute! I'm so excited for you. I love seeing the pics of you and seeing others in the background that I knew. Congrats on this new little one.
I love the table and chairs!! Yay for new furniture. And that shower looked so nice. I just love the concept of showers--everybody gives you something and it ends up to be a ton of stuff. We should throw showers for everything. All the time. Like if you're renovating... you should have a bathroom shower. Or if you're going on a vacation--a beach shower. Anyway, I'm excited for you. Can't wait to see your little guy.
Love the furniture, and thanks for the flattering picture of me too!!! It was a great shower and so much fun, thank you for the invite!
You are just too cute!! I love the furniture! It is awesome and how sweet of all those awesome Logan ladies!! Glad the pregnancy is going well... I have had a few stupid moments myself. Would have loved to see you run for the door!!!
AAGGGGHHHHH!!!! I was totally thinking about your table the other day and wondering what it looked like. I like it. And I like that you finally let someone take a picture of more than just the chest up! You are way cute! I have a present for you. Hopefully I actually remember to mail it to you.
I think we might have the same table and chairs. Yea for good taste!
Actually that comment from Jeris and Suz was from me. Jeris was signed into my computer.
Ok - I LOVE the table! And I'm so sad that I had to miss the shower. All those fun pictures definitely made me homesick :( But...I'm glad you had such a great time. May I also say that you are a cute preggo lady! Thanks for putting in a few belly shots - you're adorable!
We can ALMOST see your belly in these pictures! You still like to hide behind things... do you have a name for baby boy yet? I hope you have a fun last couple of weeks of being pregnant! Welcome back to the diaper world :) Too bad I've not left it since Dawna was born...
What fun pictures!! What a fun shower! I even still recognize some people in the pictures!
