Women's Conference

I did it. I got clearance from my doctor, packed my bags, skipped one last day of class and headed to Provo to join in the throngs of women looking for something. I had the privilege of spending three days with my mom, sister, grandma, neighbor/sister, and aunt. PLUS, we were in Provo so I got to see Josh, Heather and Lily! Bonus! Although it was pretty cold and somewhat wet, I really enjoyed my break and heard some great talks and presentations. While I was gone, Louis became Handy Manny and fixed my stinking bathroom. It has stunk since we moved in. We finally called a plumber and he said it wasn't a plumbing problem, it was mold. He told Louis to tear open the wall and find the mold. So Louis and our awesome neighbor did just that and lo and behold, no mold! What?! After moving the sink into the garage, Louis noticed the smell was gone, hmmm.... He took the sink apart and found that too much plumber's putty or whatever was used and was holding water and causing mold and stinkiness. Such a huge ordeal for such a small fix. But, my bathroom looks amazing. Can't even tell there was a huge hole in the wall, and he painted it sage. I think it's great! Now we are both really antsy to get more color around the house. Patience... patience.

Anyways.... I had a great weekend and really appreciate all the hard work Louis put in so I could come home to a stink-free house! I am also glad that I proved him wrong and did NOT have the baby in Provo. I took one final today and I have one to more on Thursday and then we are home free! Yay for summer vacation!

Thanks, grandma for rooming with me while I was great with child for a second time! What a trooper to put up with all my moaning and tossing and turning at nights!
